Today I convinced a client to dump their incumbent provider and sign with the org I work for.

Got another client to agree to a full security audit.

And a 3rd one to let us do their cyber security insurance.

Big wins for a Monday. Sadly positive feedback is non-existent here. Ah well.

Billable hours reports don't lie if that's all people there care about. They'll notice soon enough one way or another

πŸŽ‰πŸΎπŸ₯³ Congratulations and good work! Go you, you are awesome!

That's incredibly kind of you, thank you :)

this is awesome work πŸ™‚

I'm sometimes a bit sad that my mother was not good at making salads and I grew up thinking of them as boring garnishes on the side of the plate. Now that I've mastered the art of combining ingredients and creating nice dressings salads are often my favourite part of a meal. A waste of all those years I could have been eating salads if only I'd realised sooner!

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 2 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

My husband asked me today if we had chia seeds. Um I've been putting them in our salads for the past 4 months.

[–] Taleya@aussie.zone 1 points 1 hour ago

You got him craving them now

I might have a walk down the beach

[–] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 2 points 2 hours ago

I had an excellent swim this evening, it was stunning out there!! Hope the beach treats you jusf as kindly!

Every 4 years I fall in love with multiple female biathletes

I was juggling shopping bags and my heavy backpack on one shoulder arriving home earlier when the backpack slipped off my shoulder and landed directly on my big toe.

Screams of anguish followed, my god it hurt like hell. Worst part is over and I'm icing my toe.

Sorry to hear it :(

When that happens to me, I start quickly repeating "worstpartisover worstpartisover". I think it helps.

Maybe.

Lent is this Wednesday. I'll be doing no added sugar during lent as per usual. If anyone wants to join me you're welcome to.

[–] LowExperience2368@aussie.zone 2 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Hmmm no added sugar is slightly tricky for me but maybe I'll give it a crack.

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 2 points 2 hours ago

You can choose whatever you want to give up. I do it as a personal challenge.

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 3 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

I am already struggling with removing all dairy from my food.

[–] SaneMartigan@aussie.zone 3 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

When I run out of cheese I'm not planning on buying anymore for a bit. But I have a fair amount of cheese in the fridge, dam you savemore.

[–] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 3 points 2 hours ago (2 children)

I would sooner give up all booze before cheese. I wish you strength!

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 2 points 1 hour ago* (last edited 1 hour ago)

the only cheese I've had in months was the scraped bits left on a pizza after I took the cheese off last week

[–] SaneMartigan@aussie.zone 2 points 2 hours ago

I'm not doing it for lent, just taking a break from cheese. I had a crack at veganism last year but I really like eggs, and a bunch of online vegans are total cocks about it.

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 2 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

That would be really hard.

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 3 points 4 hours ago (2 children)

I love butter too , every biscuit, cake, chocolate , sour cream on tacos, yoghurt, pizzas

the list goes on 😟

I have replaced much with oat milk , cakes etc are now made with oil, I eat a lot of vegan stuff now as it's safe

I just had a homemade coconut milk and berry ice treat

[–] SaneMartigan@aussie.zone 1 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

I've been putting hommus on my curries instead of yoghurt. When it's a chickpea curry I degenerately call it chick on chick action.

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 1 points 1 hour ago

I like mango chutney πŸ™‚

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 4 points 3 hours ago

That's a lot to give up πŸ«‚

[–] RustyRaven@aussie.zone 4 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

You shall not come between me and my sugar.

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 3 points 5 hours ago* (last edited 5 hours ago)

You can choose whatever else that may suit. I choose sugar because that's the easiest for me. After a week I choose something else to add to my no diet. And so forth.

I have mini stroopwafels that will have to wait now.

[–] SaneMartigan@aussie.zone 3 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Is that like no lollies or no sugar in tea?

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 2 points 6 hours ago

No lollies, cakes, biscuits, ice cream, chocolate, soft drinks etc. Fruit is allowed. I don't have sugar in my hot drinks anyway.

[–] melbaboutown@aussie.zone 4 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 8 hours ago) (1 children)

Melbcat has eaten a little bit of wet food thanks to the antinausea shot last night.

I’m extremely worried though. What I think has happened is she may have a post-surgery kidney injury, which was a risk and could have worsened her kidney disease by a lot. This could be serious. Having that surgery could have made her much sicker and shortened her life.

I’m still waiting for a call with the full blood results.

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 3 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

ok, serious gentle hugs and extra strong healing vibes going your way

I keep getting notifications saying my phone battery has deteriorated and that I should contact Samsung support. Going to use AccuBattery to see how low that percentage has gotten.

I will now be known as LowBatteryHealthPercentage2368.

[–] Eagle@aussie.zone 4 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

My S21 has been giving me the same notification for months.

Interesting. Mine was 74%. I hear that is not good. Had to download a third party app to get that number.

[–] RustyRaven@aussie.zone 4 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

I dropped avocado covered with salad dressing down my front while eating lunch. I tried to clean it up with a wet wipe and now I have a giant wet patch and smell of disinfectant. 😭

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 4 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

get as much of that stuff off as possible before you wash as avocado will stain clothes

[–] RustyRaven@aussie.zone 2 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

At least it's just my work uniform. And if it does stain I can mostly hide it behind my lanyard!

[–] Thornburywitch@aussie.zone 2 points 8 hours ago

That is a definition of skinny that I haven't heard before!

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 2 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago)
