No Meta glasses in Europe then.

Other than wearing face masks, are there any way to defeat these facial recognition tech? Surveillance capitalism is getting more and more hellish

Glasses with an IR emitter to blind their cameras?

Can I have a high power laser in my classes so I can fry the camera and his eye balls?

Even with Teslas, if they are on sentry mode and filming everything, they need to have the notification well visible before person enters the zone of potential recognition.

Person wearing smart classes should also require a big red baseball cap with a text "dipshit filming everything" or "fascist camera surveillance system". Some loud buzzer would be fine too.

Lets do some initiatives and make this happen.

On Meta's plans to add facial recognition technology to its smartglasses:

This is a terrifying quote... An employee at Meta wrote and sent this internally?

Yeah, I too would like the source on that.

No offense OP, but it isn't hard to generate text on a white background.

Maybe in the US. Internally that's not going to work for them.
