Do we have writers yet on the Spider-Punk or Spider-Gwen spinoffs?

BELSON I’m not allowed to say. But we are active on both.

It's honestly crazy they went with Nic Cage's first...

Spider-gwen has always been the obvious choice even before the movie.

I think it was really just that cage is a big name that will agree to anything. I just don't think a 62 year old live action Spiderman is going to go as well as they think it will

It fits the noir esthetic perfectly imo. I'm just hoping they don't hold back on the violence and we get a Spidey that isn't afraid to kill people. Nic Cage is a big name to have on a tv series as well. I would be less excited if it was a movie.

I assume "Spider-Gwen" and "Spider-Punk" are animated spinoff films planned for after the third Spiderverse film.

"Spider-Noir" is a Iive action television series, so it doesn't conflict with the animated films.

Can you produce multiple animated films at once? Probably, but perhaps the rush of films that was Sony's Spider-Man without Spider-Man Universe, they're ok taking things slower. (Although maybe this is too slow.)

But what about Spider-Noir?

Actually after I typed that out I decided to take a look... Apparently that's a thing. A live-action series premiering on May 27, 2026.
