What did they say under Biden? Because, first, these numbers are kinda crazy how split the country is despite the horrors we see around us.

But also, I think the issue is voters are able to see things are not going well but they're mostly not educated enough articulate a better alternative. So instead they just wish for the only other option they're aware of, which is the party out of power.

If we want to break this pendulum cycle, we need to articulate a better alternative that speaks to the concerns of ordinary voters and help them build the tools to actually implement it. I don't have much hope for such a movement under either party, nor among any third party due to the way our elections punish third parties. So it may need to exist outside of national electoral politics.

Even conservatives can understand losing their house and job even when Dear Leader is hurting all kinds of brown people.

Yes, but my point is if those economic conditions continue to exist under democrats, we'll bounce right back into fascism again (assuming we can get out of it). And I don't see that democrats have a clear vision or ability to radically improve the economic lives of ordinary Americans.

But but but Biden is Hitler! But but GeNoCiDe!

Dems are killing children and drink the blood of the third world!

Everything that happened under Trump is the same as Obama!

There’s no difference between Kamala and what Trump is doing in Minnesota!

The democrats somehow tanked the economy while Bush was president!

Liberals allowed 9-11 and sent us to war in Iraq!

Obama used drones so he’s the same as falsifying intel like Dick Cheney to drag the US into war in Iraq…

The democrats improved healthcare but didnt handwave us into a utopia so they are the problem!

Kamala would have done the same thing with ICE!

Seriously this shit is pretty fucking weak…

Haven't looked at hexbears in months, but this feels like the kind of stuff that crowd would be spouting unironically.

There's a saying out there about the relationship between perfect and good, but in this case, it's a matter of lesser evils. In either case, going in the wrong direction won't bring us closer to where we want to be.

Their point would be that both are the wrong direction in a matter of degrees, and that a vote for a lesser evil is a vote for evil.

That said, I don't hear about anyone "direct acting" bullets into fascist heads so non-voters are at best just lazy hypocrites who can't follow their own chain of thought to its necessary conclusion.

You could say the same about people voting for the lesser of two evils. Just lazy hypocrites who can't follow their own chain of thought to its necessary conclusion: genocide and kids in cages but polite, and just out of sight enough that we don't have to join the kids in the streets.

I wouldn't say that about either though, we're largely talking about people who genuinely want to improve the world we live in and have morals, we shouldn't be spending our time punching those people for wanting to do it "wrong".

Its ultimately on the DNC and the Harris campaign for doing a terrible job providing a candidate and a platform for their wide coalition. We should be hammering them now, instead of those darn 'lazy voters'. If we don't, they are going to make the same mistakes, and we're going to get another Bidenesqe four years of back to normal followed by a return to right wing populism when nothing gets better for anyone under one term president Center-right.

I guess the live burial and mass murder of children doesn't matter to you. Biden did facilitate genocide.
