Ford Motor shut down a battery factory and laid off 1,600 workers after President Trump and Republicans gutted government support for electric vehicles.

This is what happens when people don't consume news, and it's not made available to them for free.

I guarantee they're consuming news. Heavily biased Trump praising news, but news.

You can credit Biden or blame Trump for Ford's waffling on EVs. But the business leadership - the senior managers and board members - are ultimately in charge. This is not a state-run company. If anything, its the Ford executives and shareholders who promoted Trump in the state and produced these public incentives.
