I figure that was a major side effect of the fact that they had been contracted for FOUR new seasons back in 2022 or whatever. They really had no reason to make each of the seasons a decent length or anything AFAIK. They didn't even need to be good seasons, really. None of that mattered considering that they were already paid their $X four years in advance.

8 episodes hurt alot of shows, cant flesh out the characthers enough plus it being 1-2 years in between seasons for such little episodes is bad.

It stopped being funny about 10 seasons ago imo, and I say that as someone who still regularly quote lines from the early seasons irl. It has become a parody of itself. Congrats to them for still being able to make money off of phoning it in, I guess, but the legacy have been shat upon.

Almost all shows have short seasons now, it makes me weep. I miss 20 episodes seasons

most agreed it changed after 12, even thier irl personality kinda change, they are desperately clinging onto the hollywood spotlight for dear life. at least for rob"machelenny" he was pretty much doing that which questionable characthers.

"13 on" was pretty cringey, i stopped when people were like gatekeeping how good it was, no it wasnt. they got too old in between 12 and 13, and it just went bad from then on. also as they got older they leaned heavily into botox and plastic surgery, they became unrecognizable. when they were hosting an award show a while back, nobody knew who they were or gave them enthusiastic applaud, which is kinda sad.

Have you tried season 17? A lot of people consider it the best season in years and a return to form. With that said, it does still pale in comparison to the peak early seasons. It's just a marked improvement over the Ganz seasons.
