Cute Russian comic. The home of the official English version is here if anyone wants to skip ahead (or support them): https://boosty.to/gabiconomics-en

Commission pay is a form of wage calculation where each employee is paid a percentage of the profits based on their labour.

Commission pay is usually applied in one of its various forms to managers and retailers, but It could - in theory - be applied to most workers. Products are sold by sales reps, but the sale itself isn't happening solely due to the reps' efforts - or that of a marketing team. Base craftsmanship quality of a piece or service is still a factor in any sale and adds to the value of a product.

Back to a bit of “to each according to their ability” coding combined with a bit of burnout prevention - not everyone can or will give 100% of their ability 100% of the time. Sorry Gabi, but Sneeze is saying that conditions wouldn’t be as good with a 3-wheel daily target.

Nothing wrong with praising Rumples' new method and trying to implement it to raise work productivity, very Stakhanovite vibes. "To each according to their work" is not bad either, and is actually the goal during scarcity conditions as we live in now, IMO. Nothing wrong with Sneeze wanting to work less and earning less in exchange, barring health problems ofc (physical or mental).

It doesn’t sound so much like a new method as much as just working faster and harder - productivity gains not driven by process improvements but by increases in effort, which likely comes with costs to physical and mental health.
