Captain? Why funny? I am at a loss like the others...

I have no idea how everyone seems to have missed this.
Humans eat sheep.
In future humans find sheep people.
Sheep people think they're going to eat them.
Like...
We've got sheep people at home.
This joke is a fighter jet; it went over my head at breakneck speed.
Is this a pop culture reference?
The logo on their chests is a US Space Force Logo, perhaps it’s an ICE parallel as he’s an illegal “alien” and their job is kinda like ICE but for space? Edit: also getting a little vibe of the torture/humiliation video that came out from Gitmo where the soldiers were enjoying themselves, and even a bit of the hostage videos that come out where they make the captive say how well they’re being treated etc.
Is it because they're showing their teeth and that's a threatening gesture among predators? Is it because they are particular characters from some other media? Is it because the camera flash turned their eyes red and that's scary?
The teeth thing makes lots of sense especially if you've read the Cytoverse series. In it, there's an alien race that sees the showing of teeth as a sign of aggression or a sign of fear.
All of it. I'm guessing the joke is that this alien is sheep based and all the signs you described would put us humans in the "scary predator aliens" category.
I too, am confused.
Hi confused, I'm... also confused

Thanks for the link! Love the art, but I've got to admit the story sounds real depressing. (Not that there's anything wrong with that!)
