She was incontinent toward the end. She wouldn’t always make it to the box, hence the pad. And the bath.
One of my kitties prefers a pad. I put a pad in a box and i just change it every night. It's better than the floor or my bed.
Oh she wanted to use the litter but her aim was not great.
My previous car had the same problem. He would often start peeing a meter away from the box, and then try to bury it, spreading pee everywhere. The vet taught us to express his bladder twice a day in his last year, and it worked out pretty well.
I take my car to the mechanic rather than the vet…
