Israeli media is not a monolith, and Fox News is (unfortunately for the rest of us) far from the most batshit reactionary media in the US. Have you seen Newsmax or OAN? That's where all the MAGAts are these days.

Any group put in overwhelming undisputed power over another group will devolve into abusing them. A point Eisenhower made about Israel, that they would end up doing the same things to them as happened to themselves. It's there in the historical record though, it was highlighted in a US History book from the 1970s, back when they still taught history. By the 1980s history was both corrupted by monied interests in league with bad actors, and all but removed from curriculum. Our governments were captured inbetween that interval it appears.
