This assumes that the USA hasn't been one big Holocaust.

This reminds me of the time I got permabanned from Reddit for saying Russians should rise up and execute Putin.

On the Ukraine subreddit.

I got banned for posting Luigi pics (Mario bios Luigi).

You definitely have been provoking public violence from the view of Reddit admins. And this is a big no-no unless it's benefitial for them.

I got my account permabanned for saying something like "our trust in the government will never be rekindled unless people end up swinging for this"

In America, that would be called "radical-left antifa terrorism". And you've probably been put on a watchlist just for posting this.

(Also...I agree with you)

Thanks to a new 'hate speech' law as written it's likely illegal with jail time in Australia too, if you upset any One Nation voters (or other group, they just came to mind for some reason) with it. Mostly applies to Netanyahu so far though (so fascists).

The only good fascist is a dead fascist.

The problem is that the absolute scum tyrants always have the advantage in a "civil society." People can have a pretty damn good idea where things are headed, but if they currently are in a situation where there's still the appearance of an option for peaceful transition away from the potential tyrant they'll wait and hope to use that option.

The "civil society" will never choose violence first to counter a potential threat that hasn't happened yet. I fully believe with all of my being that things are going to have to get to "well, there's literal mass graves, gas chambers, and the federal government just cancelled elections" before people choose violence. :(

Very few people truly believe that it's an existential threat, even when it's spelled out. Everyone firmly expects to die of old age like their grandparents got to, even though a lot of people in history haven't.

I always reflect on the French, and the retribution they inflicted on thousands of Germans when they were liberated. Eventually the French government had to step in, because the revenge was getting a bit out of hand perhaps.

The same thing should have happened in the USSR, but yet we have what we have.

But it is presumptive.
