Hey! Joey joe joe!

[–] Mokopa@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Hold on, is this in a real episode?

[–] Hawk@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 2 months ago

No, if I'm correct, the reveal was that the J stands for "Jay"

The scene where he finds out what the J stands for is real, but whoever made this edit is referencing this often memed scene:

Why isn't Don Incognito wearing his signature top hat and monocle in that shot?

[–] Mokopa@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

I got the reference, but I never saw the reveal about the J... I've been using Joey Joe Joe jr as my gaming tag since the scene in moes came out.

OK, so. I have a middle name. But my Social Security card only has a J. I didn't realize this was unusual until I got married and saw my wife's Social Security card. Do I Legally have a middle name?

I think the social security card is its own thing with its own application. It's not really supposed to be an ID, so my guess is it might be different from your legal name for bureaucracy reasons.

Thank you, Picard Maneuver. You're my favorite Lemmy poster, and now my source of legal advice. This means I will continue to sign things Box J. Feet instead of switching to Box J Feet.

And yeah, if you ever run into any trouble with that, just tell them not to worry, "some star trek dork on Lemmy thinks it's probably ok."
