Would be nice if you explained what you’re complaining about.

I was complaining about Youtube and the countless ways it keeps fucking things up for third-party apps like Newpipe. This time, it was the "Content not available" bullshit bug.
Do streaming services call The Pirate Bay a "third party app"?
Nevermind, the amazing people behind
@newpipe already dropped a fix:

Good news! There seems to be a hotfix release:

Are you seriously complaining that a company is trying to prevent you from pirating their content?
it's not THEIR content.. it's the creators content. they are stealing it and trying to sell it to you under the guise of shitty subscriptions to a garbage application
When they upload it to youtube, it is youtube's content. As I've said elsewhere, I applaud people circumventing youtube's heinous system. But to complain that youtube is trying to stop you from doing so is fucking idiotic, of course they are going to try an prevent people from invalidating their business model.
This isn't a method to access any paid content for free. At "worst" it's an ad blocker.
And before you come up with some other shit, I'm from the pro-piracy lemmy instance. I don't actually care if I hurt Google, and if I want to support a creator then pretty much any other fuckong option than giving them more ad impressions on youtube will get more money to the creator. We're talking like 10,000 ad views for a few cents. It's not worth it, and the majority of creators I watch actively endorse ad blocking.

Thieving from thieves...
People are uploading their content to youtube voluntarily, it isn't stolen.
