To be honest these are great for lying on and under
I mean at least there are spaces that you could lay down on.
My area has these fucked up benches made of metal slats, where the middle slats sort of raise up and separate it into two separate uncomfortable seating areas. The justification is that the raised up slats have little holes in them for cable-type bike locks...
