I'm summoning salt, and this is the history of autism screening speedruns

[–] Catoblepas@piefed.blahaj.zone 5 points 3 months ago

Instantly heard the intro music he uses. Picking some of the chillest music in existence was such a good call for a channel about people intensely concentrating on high reaction speed gameplay.

If you misstep putting these on, it must be painful.

[–] blattrules@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago

At least people will stop stepping on my feet when I have them on.

[–] Ashelyn@lemmy.blahaj.zone 13 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Ironically I think these would give me sensory issues

[–] zaphod@sopuli.xyz 8 points 3 months ago

Cuboid shoes, that just feels wrong.

[–] Nioxic@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 3 months ago

Just a reminder that in the movie idiocracy.. everyone walks around in crocs

[–] TheGiantKorean@lemmy.today 8 points 3 months ago

So you would technically be constantly stepping on Legos.

[–] hOrni@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I want them so much. I love Legos, I love Crocs. They cost 10 times as much as normal Crocs. Boots that'll last a decade cost a half of that. They don't have the practicality of Crocs. And I can't even imagine a scenario where I could wear them. But I still want them.

[–] huppakee@piefed.social 4 points 3 months ago (2 children)

If you keep them mint in box they will lose value while also not providing value to you, these are only sold to generate profit so please at least use them once.

[–] hOrni@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

No problem there. I won't buy them, because I can't afford them. Or more accurately, I'm not dumb enough to buy them. It's bad enough, that I'm buying Legos, which are ridiculously expensive. I'm running out of place to display my finished sets. No, sorry. I've already ran out of space, yet I've still bought a set today.

Oh believe me; no

[–] huppakee@piefed.social 2 points 3 months ago

But that is not a brick shaped clog

[–] JetpackJackson@feddit.org 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)
[–] Hawk@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

LEGO did mention that these are not meant to be worn

[–] JetpackJackson@feddit.org 5 points 3 months ago

Well that's dumb then, it's just a collectors item?

[–] LogicalDrivel@sopuli.xyz 6 points 3 months ago

I really hope there are holes on the bottom that line up. I want to see a stack of people wearing these.

[–] BillyClark@piefed.social 5 points 3 months ago
[–] Aneb@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago

They better click into the other like real legos. Imagine building a wall of logo crocs

[–] Shady_Shiroe@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I am personally not a crocs fan, but I'd consider these if they were actually Lego compatible.

[–] Atelopus-zeteki@fedia.io 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Notice how they didn't show the underside?

[–] cabillaud@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago (2 children)
[–] Atelopus-zeteki@fedia.io 2 points 3 months ago

That's not gonna press together, so sad.

[–] ajoebyanyothername@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

You ever wondered what the bottom of an avatar's shoe looks like? Well bam.

[–] SharkAttak@kbin.melroy.org 3 points 3 months ago

"Launching next month" Into the Sun, right?

[–] lena@gregtech.eu 3 points 3 months ago (2 children)
[–] Kirp123@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Paying more for that Lego brand name.

[–] hOrni@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Usually it's the other way around.

[–] wreckedcarzz@lemmy.world 8 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Legoing more for that Pay brand name?

[–] hOrni@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

Obviously. No, seriously franchise themed Legos cost more than regular. Have You seen the Pokémon sets prices? But they are more fun. My favourite past time is to buy a movie theme set and then assemble it while watching that movie.

[–] hOrni@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

Really? 150usd is around 500pln. They cost 900pln. Where the fuck does that difference come from?

[–] VeryInterestingTable@jlai.lu 3 points 3 months ago

That's one way to make sure people don't step on your toes ever again.

150$ seems alnost cheap in light of this limitless power to inflict the most formidable pain.

[–] Bazell@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 months ago

No sane person will dare to step on your foot in these ones.
