Trump said that he wasn’t pleased that Latin rap superstar Bad Bunny and recently announced addition Green Day, both of whom are critics of the president, will entertain at the widely watched Feb. 8 NFL championship in San Francisco.

“I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible,” Trump said.

The president said, however, that the musicians aren’t his reason for skipping the game.

“It’s just too far away. I would. I’ve [gotten] great hands [at] the Super Bowl. They like me,” Trump said.

“I would go if, you know, it was a little bit shorter.”

Does the President usually go to the Super Bowl? Seems like it would be a security nightmare.

the NFL always has a bunch of snipers watching the stadium even when the president isn't in attendance

Which they brag about, as if it isn't the biggest security theatre in the world. As I have always said, of you wanted to do a lot of damage, you would attack the lines going into the stadium.

Clearly you haven't watched the cinematic classic The Last Boy Scout.

lol, I forgot that the whole premise for the villain was around legalizing sports gambling. hahaha

Trump has been attending most major sports events, many more than his predecessors. I think it’s an attempt to gin up support from frat bro sports betting types. At the college football championship between Miami and Indiana, he was getting heckled and flipped off a lot by the crowd, which I think he isn’t going to the Super Bowl. Plus Bad Bunny is doing the halftime show, so that makes it ‘woke’. As for security, these huge events already have an insane amount of “security” present, with huge amounts of feds, so it’s not any more a security risk than any other public appearance.

He also just likes that he basically gets to go for free/on the government's dime.

He doesn't want to hear the audience heckled him. Fucking coward.
