Given the whole situation with kakao and bato, I want to start uploading some manhwa torrents since I have found only sparse amounts of them on places like nyaa and to encourage people to self host. I'd like some advice. I can just upload my downloads from suwayomi, but if there's a better quality alternative that doesn't strain sites servers, i'd like to know. Also any advice for safety measures. And of course anything else that could be important.

My personal preference is always a torrent rather than a single site

Correct answer. Individual "streaming" sites come and go like the wind, you can't rely on any of them to stick around for more than a few months. But P2P torrents are resilient and almost always available.

And i'll just add that with jackett integration into qbittorrent discovering torrents is very comfortable.

Something I never understood is: why don't you guys join the music fans on soulseek? It's great for small-ish files and there is no law that says you can only share music there!
