Vote or don't, but always remember that real change can only come from outside the system.
You should still vote though. Just also do other stuff, but if you don't vote because 'both options are bad', the greater bad will occur.
It’s entirely situational. Some people are in locations where voting would have no meaningful affect because it’s so partisan.
Time and energy could be better spent elsewhere in those cases.
I dunno what it's like where you are, but voting in Canadian elections usually takes 15-45 minutes (for the 80% of Canadians in urban areas). I'm hard pressed to think of something you could with 45 minutes/year that would have a greater effect.
People on twitter will really be like "you believe in voting? that pales in effectiveness to my strategy, firebombing a Walmart" and then not firebomb a Walmart
You are unserious, uninformed, probably very privileged, since you don't seem to care about the harm conservative government causes and believe politics is a fun game where you pick sides and then argue online. If enough people vote for your ideology, you can change all the laws to your liking.
But that would mean actual political work. So instead you dream of your violent revolution like the Christians dream of judgment day.

Show me one instance of voting removing the capitalist system? Because there are many instances of revolutions winning and doing as such.
