Every time I used to see that show up in the YouTube captions, I always thought it said "applesauce"

Whoever this "Jerry" is, he needs our help, he may not be sick now, but if he keeps it up he will be

Muh lifted VEEEIGHT FERRD F tree fiddy.
It can even run a marathon afterwards.

I've passed about 20 liters of gas

So what's the deal with people drinking gas?

[–] SpaceCowboy@lemmy.ca 3 points 3 days ago

Only Jerry can answer that question.

For those of us in the states... Other countries empty out 2 litre soda bottles to measure out their gallons of gas. its an extra step, but pretty much the whole world has decided base 10 is better for some reason.

I'm more confused on how drinking gas works. Gas is something I breath in, rather than drink.

You're just not trying hard enough

So, can you buy WWII pattern jerry cans in the modern day without some godawful useless EPA mandated valve spout? The blow molded gas cans have been legislated to worthlessness.

A jerry can is a container specifically for fuel. The name comes from the fact that the design we still use to this day was invented in Germany and allied forces would take nazi fuel containers after a conflict because they were of much better quality than what the allies had. A "Jerry" is a nickname for a German.

Correctly answered a question that was asked with relevant info = Cliff?

That's what the character was known for, my dude. A wealth of knowledge on a momentary detail that was both surprising and oddly tangential.

He was known for saying stuff that sounded good but some critical thing(s) were totally wrong.

At least starting in season 2 where they started making all the characters gradually more cartoonish
