I'm sick of hearing this. white supremacy and fascism is the real goal of the administration. the Epstein stuff is a speedbump they had to deal with along the way. if no Epstein information had ever come out they would still be doing white supremacy fascist shit

Also, let's say they release it all tomorrow, what changes?

The release of the information implies that it's no longer part of any active investigation. If there was anything in there that would lead to criminal charges, those charges are already old news.

They won’t release it because it has names of other countries leaders so they get to do whatever they want holding the release of the files over their heads. Like look my people don’t care that I’m a pedo they won’t impeach me. But if you try and stop us from invading other countries we WILL release the files with your names in them

We literally had a release a couple weeks ago where someone testified Trump contributed to / knew of a murder.

And most people have already forgotten about it.

I hadn't heard about that. Do you have a link?

Possibly this one about the pregnant 13 year old where they thre the newborn into Lake Michigan and Trump was present?

A woman reported to the FBI that she had been sex trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein from a yacht based near Muskegon in the summer of 1984 when she was 13 years old and pregnant.

According to the report, she told the FBI she gave birth to a baby girl, and her uncle killed and “disposed of the body in Lake Michigan.” The woman said Epstein “was orchestrating a deal” along with her uncle, where “different men, and a few women and girls, would come to a variety of boats and yachts and pay money to force me to do (redacted) with them when I was 13 and pregnant.”

In the report, the woman names President Donald Trump as a witness, saying she knows him because “he participated regularly in paying money to force me to (redacted) with him and he was present when my uncle murdered my newborn child and disposed of the body in Lake Michigan.”

The fact there's even a question of which murder we're referring to is outrageous for a US President.

The shock doctrine working as intended.

Nothing changes. Nothing will change until they actually face consequences. People need to stand up and punch every single Nazi in the face. Including the Nazi in chief.

Bet you're also sick of hearing people say, that amercans are just letting them be fascists.

But people have to realize how big america is. It was easy back in the old days, when there were cars and aeroplanes. And yeah, maybe jan 6 happened with a small amount of people, but it's not like any of them were willing to risk their life or anything, or got close to overthrowing the government.

The idea the Epstein files scare their diseased administration is getting a little silly. Trump can fuck a kid on live TV and USA won't do anything.

I want justice for victims and to stop trafficking as much as anyone, but everyone pinning their hopes on the Epstein files being a backdoor to dismantling this fascist takeover are delusional.

[–] foodandart@lemmy.zip 13 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

It does make Trumplestiltskin lose his shit and anything that can make him rage can also make him possibly drop dead of a coronary and I'm all for that.

[–] Zorque@lemmy.world 1 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

That just means another fascist takes his place, possibly one that has less skeletons in their closet to make them rage in the way you'd like them to.

Not saying the world wouldn't be a bit better if he was gone, it just wouldn't make as much a difference as both his detractors and his supporters might presume.

This is true.

The problem is that we're at the end of a 40+ years long rollout of regressive social conservatism.

ALSO, the generational amnesia is settling in, now that the last of the WWII veterans and survivors of the NAZIs are all but extinct.

It's not a mystery why 20th century history regarding the sacrifices of Allies, and the reasons behind them haven't been taught in US History classes like it used to be.

I watch the various videos on youtube with the conservative kids in debates and I see lots of misinformation and distortions expressed in the things they say and believe. It tells me they never have known anyone that experienced the NAZIs or the Concentration camps.

I knew lots of people when I was a kid - many Jewish refugees that were teenagers who made it out of the camps and emigrated to America.

It wasn't unusual to see the number tattoos the Germans put on their forearms. That shit was real and it sucked and the kids today have no idea what it asked of German people - how they were expected to defile themselves morally and spiritually - and what it took from everyone that fought against it.

I fear that we're gonna come back around to this cycle of degradation and destruction sooner than we should.

[–] Zorque@lemmy.world 2 points 14 hours ago

True, though expressing schadenfreude without this context just reinforces hate for hates sake. Showing disdain for people instead of what they represent.

I want to see the end of neo-fascism. Seeing individual leaders of it is just a bonus that, frankly, isnt something I even want to care about.

[–] BradleyUffner@lemmy.world 5 points 15 hours ago

Don't forget their huge massive pile of money that gets funneled directly in to the bank accounts and stock portfolios of the administration.

[–] passepartout@feddit.org 9 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

That's cool but maybe edit out the faces while you're at it next time.

[–] LaunchesKayaks@lemmy.world 3 points 16 hours ago

An absolute king

[–] FenderStratocaster@lemmy.world 4 points 19 hours ago

If Greenland would just rename itself Epstein Island, Trump would leave it alone.

[–] theuniqueone@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 15 hours ago

Again not everything is about this.

[–] stiffyGlitch@lemmy.world 1 points 19 hours ago

are those supposed to be trans-coloured stars or is it just mere coincidence?
