Immediately asks for location permission in the TestFlight app. That’s putting me off right off the bat.

Strange. I did not get this prompt and don’t see Arpeggi in the Location Services list.
can you post some pictures of the frontend?
very pretty. I do not own an iOS, but I'd consider this frontend if that was the case.
Is there a compelling reason to use this over Amperfy?
I would love a 'Dont stop the music' mode that any action that will (a) immediately play another track, or (b) reset/replace the current playlist had a simple confirmation dialog. This is my biggest annoyance with Amperfy (and most other subsonic-compatible players) -- while looking for the next track to enqueue; it's way too easy to accidentally tap a new track, rather than swiping to enqueue something else.
Arpeggi has this. Enable “Continuous Playback”.
More customizable UI
Looks great! It’s tough for me to choose between this, amperfy, and narjo. I think arpeggi has the cleanest UI, but amperfy and narjo have gapless playback, which I really care about. Plus amperfy is fully open source, which is cool. narjo has a bunch of neat features/customization, though, so I’ve been sticking with it lately
I’ve tried dozens of clients and Arpegi is my favourite. I’ve been using it for a year.
No clarity on code status, seems not open source and author may want to charge later. I refuse to beta test for him and being forced to pay later for the privilege
