Agreed. They follow the seasons of his Lies Social posts, and he follows the seasons of his own outrage.
He's going after all the blue states for multiple reasons, mainly that his enemies are concentrated in them. Leaving the red states alone because they voted for him. His fondest wish is to use the military against anyone who opposes him.
For now, the goals are: Retribution, Bring chaos and terror to his enemies, Provoke and escalate violence, all leading to justification for the most important objective: invoking the Insurrection Act which allows deploying military forces against the People. Implementing Martial Law to justify canceling the midterm elections, which would go against his minions if allowed to happen.
Anyone who thinks we're going to have any kind of normal free and fair elections this November is in denial.
Hes not totally ignoring the red states.
Every red state has a few blue spots in them, and trust me, hes doing to those blue spots what hes doing to minnesota.
Tim Walz hurt his feelings during the election. Trump couldn't even find Minnesota on a map he's just unbelievably fragile and petty
Why Where: a place with a feisty Democratic governor who will push back, surrounded by other blue states and border into Canada. Less easy to spot army amassing at border if you think they are fighting among each other.
Why When: he waited till now so he can escalate slowly so things can move towards miliary by spring/ early summer and to Marshall Law by late summer to prevent midterms.
Also he didn’t anything. He golfs, does cognitive tests, shits in his diaper and rambles online. This is the neo Nazi machinery you’re seeing in action.
Minnesota is not surrounded by blue states. We don't border a single blue state.
Hey that’s true! I thought it bordered Illinois but it doesn’t. But the argument can work the other way too, by having a boxed in blue state. Also, Musk turned WI from blue to red, not the voters.
Wisconsin turned red well before Musk.
Oh shit! If they take Thunder Bay, the whole country falls... ;)
I don't think he waited. He's been trying to start shit in other blue states all the way back to sending the Natl. Guard to LA and DC, and failed miserably mind you.
Minnesota was a convenient distraction from Venezuela and the Epstein files. Minnesota was in the news and Trump needed a distraction.
It had to be big to overshadow everything else so he ordered thousands of ICE agents to be deployed, which required expediting/skipping the already inadequate training they're receiving. Then those untrained agents killed somebody within days of arriving and things have escalated.
Trump doesn't have a master plan. He fails until he accidentally succeeds.
I think my trans sister here is trying to say that Trump isn't planning a campaign here, he's reacting opportunistically to events like the Minnesota ICE deployment, to distract from other issues (ahem other issues, ahem)
Tim Walz.
He already tried California for Harris and failed miserably.
BLM. That's why. It's a racial suppression movement.
Nobody with a brain said he is smart.
I don't think he waited. The entire ICE hiring spree and deployment strategy seems to be designed to cause conflict with civilians. The officer involved was violent in the past already and rewarded for it instead of punished. The idea is to put unprepared people in unfamiliar territory with loaded weapons and tell them that everyone else is out to kill them. This has been an ongoing attempt to cause violence, since Jan 20th, that is only now becoming impossible to ignore. I don't think there has been any sharp escalation, there have been plenty of ICE murders all throughout last year. It has been getting more violent over time, and will continue throughout the next year at the very least.
Apparantly somebody misunderstood what "I.C.E." stand for
Inability to handle Cold Environments
"ICE Agent" proceeds to slip on ice
ICE: 0 ; ice: 1
The high is going to be -9F this Friday.
Because he figured they wouldn’t care and wouldn’t put up resistance
Some conservative influencer made up lies about daycare fraud being perpetuated by Somali immigrants. (There was a fraud ring, some of them were Somali, but US citizens and the ring leader is white).
Trump got wind of the influencer, didn't believe any of the evidence disproving his claims and sent in a shit load of ICE agents.
That's basically the whole story.
The Governor of MN was also Harris’s running mate and Trump wants to punish that.
He's just trying everything to keep the Epstein files out of the news.
And when it comes to the media, every crisis is an opportunity for him.
Its fascists tradition at this point
I think it is a test or a rehersal for the upcoming Midterm elections. The current polling and last years elections suggest that it will be bad for Republicans. Trump wants to see if his goons will actually follow his orders when he tries to overthrow an election loss with federal muscle.
