Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.

Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.

This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

Don't take yourselves too seriously. Serious posts go to !anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Rules

  1. If you post images with text, endeavour to provide the alt-text

  2. If the image is a crosspost from an OP, Provide the source.

  3. Absolutely no right-wing jokes. This includes "Anarcho"-Capitalist concepts.

  4. Absolutely no redfash jokes. This includes anything that props up the capitalist ruling classes pretending to be communists.

  5. No bigotry whatsoever. See instance rules.

  6. This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

  7. No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

Not saying that this is the intent.... But, this seems to be race baiting a bit.

It's just odd that the worker is the only one intentionally colored to be Caucasian and the issue the dnc is hiding behind is blm. It just seems to suggest blm is a ploy in opposition to workers rights.

Again, not accusing you of holding these ideas, but there are a lot of weird groups blending white supremacy with anarchism and socialism nowadays.

Thats not the message at all.

It’s highlighting how both sides are anti working class, but one dresses up its message in fake care.

The other comment by WalrusDragonOnABike understood the message, and wrote a great comment about it. You should go read it.

100% came here to say basically the same thing. There's nothing to be gained by blaming black/queer activism for the grievances of pale bros. Seems highly sus.

If they'd even do that, it would be an improvement. Queer liberation and anti-racism require class struggle.

But the DNC still worried about "optics" of BLM and sometimes would do things like increase police budgets to increase "training" instead of just getting rid of police (or mass deploying police to tear gas neighborhoods and pepper-spraying all over food/water stations with impunity, as we see with ICE doing in MN now, which also racks up OT spending on police) instead of redirecting those efforts into food, housing, etc, they can't even claim to actually support BLM.

They used to at least seem to try to position themselves as caring about these things, but then you had Kamala talking about how awful people are for not wanting genocides and that she didn't care about those voter and spent her short campaign trying to distance herself from trans people as much as possible while only being mildly overtly transphobic compared to the GOP.

Nothing about the state of the world is funny.
