One thing I still commonly see among lib circles is them writing letters addressed to their representatives about issues such as ICE or Greenland, and calling on other people to do it.

To me, it just looks like another one of those useless rituals for true believers in the system. I cannot fathom what they think this will accomplish; their "representatives" (lmao) aren't obligated to respect their opinion so the letter might as well just wander into the trash.
