Maybe it changes ‘up’ locally, so you can just get rid of the sword if you tie yourself to the ground, rotate the sword and let it fly away 🤔
Attach a weight to it, slightly above and off center. Hang from pivot point. Weight is heavy and tries to fall, turns sword, weight is still up and heavy so it tries to fall again, sword turns forever while everyone vomits in circles.

I absolutely love this because of the emotions it can evoke. To me, there's an idea that after all of the preparation, the kiwi had planned an escape
This is political, the whole basis of the joke is that it would be terrible if objective reality was subject to the whim of a single perspective.
