Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.

Yeah, ICE is killing people for sport, and we recently learned through the Epstein releases that Trump played party to infanticide.
It's horrible when you come up with some absurd example that could never happen to use somewhere, and shortly after reality calls your bluff.
sigh I remember Harris wore that exact outfit and pearls one time and I got hopeful that The Simpsons predicted the future.

I can't find it, but I remember a political cartoon during the first Trump admin where the cartoonist is drawing and their partner comes in to say something to the effect of "stop, that cartoon you're drawing just happened."
It's only a matter of time before Trump literally eats a baby and MAGA cheers him on while restricting abortions because "think of the children".

Exactly this, but if you replaced cute animals with competing headlines meant to pander to your specific feelings and make you think your side is "winning," it would be depressingly accurate.
Reminds me of the time I got fired for making a joke headline in a system that I wasn't properly trained on while attempting to train someone else how to use said system.
Must have been either a really edgy "joke" or a critically important system, or you had a history of goofing and someone didn't like it. Or a company about to get digested by private equity and they were looking for any excuse to get rid of people.
