Just got this PDA and it's way more useful that I thought originally!

I wish I could have gotten a 2100 instead but I got this one for only 30£ so I immediately took it :D

Wow, nice! And still works!

Check out this MacWorld edition from 1993!

Note what Guy says about smartphones in the interview.

I had one of those exact models, and I would counter with no, no it’s not. Even if I thought it would be zero on the useful scale, my experience was that it was negative useful.

Maybe the newton just doesn't like you

I loved mine. The handwriting recognition wasn’t great on the original newton, but the rest of it was useful.

Apple’s mistake was in making each subsequent model bigger instead of reducing the size, thickness, and weight. Handspring pretty much proved that, and was even the first PDA with a cell phone option.

Ok ok I must admit, the letter and word recognition on my model of newton is not the best, even slightly worst than I thought BUT, what redeems that is the facts there's a built in onscreen keyboard that you can bring up at any time by just tapping the screen twice wherever you want to type
