If ice keeps going into stores arresting people, people are going to stop going to stores. This is not an environment that people want to shop in. You would think that retailers would realize this and be pushing back. It’s going to cost them a lot of money.

Just went to a grocery store in the twin cities. they had a security guard with a gun. just one, and he was old. I am not sure what beyond the appearance of support these businesses can do. ICE doesn't have the jurisdiction to detain or arrest citizens and yet it happens because no one seems to have an actual plan.
Retail conglomerates have donation cash to throw around and more importantly, withhold. That photo wasn’t taken in a mom and pop store. It was a Target. Home Depot and Lowes have had the same problem. Money talks.
Home Depot and Lowe’s are the only places in my area with known Flock camera installations.
They aren’t the good guys either, and you should avoid shopping there if possible.
Yes I get that but what do you want them to do? Hire a militia and tell them to shoot any one who looks like ICE? The agents I have seen around here are inches away from going full nut job and shooting into a crowd.
So I have no idea where to post this. But I saw the post and it's entirely relevant.
Blackwater Successor Hunts Immigrants for ICE
Then I saw this from another video:
MD 500Es have been flying all day today. Minneapolis PD doesn't fly it. I doubt any ICE could.
But guess who is a listed operator? Academi. Aka Blackwater/Constellis.
ICE, on its own? Can't do shit.
So the DHS is paying for a PMC to provide military level support.
If you wanted to know JUST how cowardly ICE is? Who wants to bet that if Constellis operations were shut down, ICE would just LEAVE.
Edit: I forgot to mention the most horrifying part. Each capture rewards Constellis with a bounty.
People are being kidnapped NOT FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN PROFIT.
It's dawning on me more that ICE (itself) is currently a farce. Everyone in it signed up to be a cowboy (which was to be expected) but they don't look any more competent than January 2025. They lack the attention to detail and foresight to actually follow through and be a massively oppressive force. Top to bottom, everyone wants to brandish guns and give orders and brown nose the fascists above them. Nobody actually wants to get hurt or face public backlash.
Their actions are boisterous, aggressive and shocking but fundamentally performative. In a headline they burst in and tackle children and do all kinds of heinous shit, but watching it on camera is usually not so chilling. Nobody knows what to do, nobody knows how to handle their gear, they're scared to take any initiative unless they have a 2:1 numbers advantage or are preying on the weak.
They're shit at crowd control, they look lost when an oppressed civilian doesn't follow the script. They're obese, slow and not too bright. It makes me wonder if this is what the brown-shirts and SS jack boots were like. Would they have been as successful if the German public saw more candid footage?
Now that doesn't make them less dangerous; a gun is still a gun. But they don't scare me nearly as much as some more mature PMCs or the US military/intelligence branches. It takes real precision to dominate a populous, even modern Orwellian surveillance is no substitute for unflinching dogmatic violence.
But on the flip side: those government agencies have also gutted competency for loyalty and the PMCs don't have the legal immunities/authoritarian pedigree. As it currently stands, the administration may be bluffing their strength even farther than it first seemed... Will they find their Goering/Himmler/Heydrich to lubricate the fascist gears or are they all too preoccupied with looting America?
Gestapo
As a boy, the Hollywood movie “The Border” set the course for his life. He couldn’t believe the Border Patrol agents in the movie were the bad guys.
Any time I read more about anyone in the Trump administration, I’m shocked by how pathetic and stupid they are.
After the movie, he read autobiographies by border patrol agents and was desperate to make it his career because he was convinced they’re the good guys. I’m sure shitty people never embellish their heroics in an autobiography…
Even [as a worthless CPB agent], he sought attention. Bovino once invited reporters to watch him breaststroke across a concrete irrigation canal in Southern California’s Imperial Valley, warning migrants that the currents were strong.
Literally the worst, most attention-starved people who have ever been in government.
Source of the quote is the Chicago Sun Times.
“In Richfield, federal agents, including Greg Bovino, senior commander of US Border Patrol, entered Target without a warrant, physically assaulted, and arrested two Target employees, both US citizens,” he said in an update to his webpage.

Neither ICE nor the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) responded to questions.
LEOs loves to say that someone not talking with them about something is suspicious.
The two employees are heroes - and very inspiring, I would think.
Another case of power given to stupid people with daddy issues.
ICE just asking for that 🎯.
