Unlike my parents, I make sure they know they're more important to me than their maths homework. But they do still cry sometimes. Kids be having feelings, yo

Right, the only reason you care about their maths homework is because you care about them.
does specifically blahaj piefed have trouble federating to lemmy?
By "trouble", do you mean the pic (and thumbnail) are broken?
Works for me (with external client).
Hello. I can explain. At some recent time, Lemmy.zip started to proxy images as AVIF files. AVIF files currently are not well supported on Android (not sure about iOS) so a lot of images fail to load using the Android built-in decoder. Usually the browser is fine because it uses a custom decoder. (Actually for this particular image, even Chrome is having a hard time on my end)
But yeah, this is a problem with lemmy.zip and not any of the other instances.
My parents: "You just need to focus and finish your math homework."
My undiagnosed ADHD brain: "No can-dos-ville babydoll."
What if you end up with a child who likes maths AND crying?
Why is it always math😭
Also Swedish. And cursive handwiriting.
Been there, done that - until I found a good teacher. I'm still thankful.
One of the best teachers I have ever seen was one of my kids teachers during COVID.
All the other, mostly younger, teachers were just "herp derping" their way through doing school remotely. And this one lady, who was like two years from retirement, just points a camera at a blank piece of paper and writes out the math lessons by hand while talking you through each step.
I'm just watching this like, "where the hell was this lady when I was in 6th grade??"
Lol, my best math teacher in Highschool was also the reason I cried at my math homework.
i thought i would grow out of my fuck school phase but alas, here i am.
