He just started his term and he’s already accomplished a lot. This purity test on everything and the expectation of instant results on every issue is unrealistic

His first 10 days:

Mayor Zohran Mamdani, recently inaugurated in NYC (early 2026), has quickly enacted policies focusing on affordability, tenant rights, and public services, including a rent freeze pledge, cracking down on junk fees, establishing city-run food markets, appointing a tenant-focused lead for housing, and creating an Office of Mass Engagement, all while maintaining continuity in public safety by keeping Police Commissioner Tisch. Key areas include housing (tripling affordable units), fighting exploitation (delivery apps, junk fees), education, and social programs like free childcare, aligning with his democratic socialist platform.

What did you do last week?

How dare the American mayor in an American city focus on that city's problems and not on what's going on in the middle east? The people in the church are not breaking American laws, nor are the protesters outside their church. You came to the USA board to complain about this?

@geneva_convenience Because Mamdani is a Democrat centrist.

Fell for it implied they wanted more than treats for themselves, which I’m not sure is the case.
