In an alternative universe I can see this could actually be implemented somewhat decently if you could opt out, like the Apple iMessage scanning for minors that already exists. However since we know the OSA actually has nothing to do with keeping people safe this will be implemented in the least privacy respecting way possible

Doesn't "social media" include all bloody services that include some form of user generated content, or is that the EU law I'm thinking of?
