Until those alternatives displace all of coal and gas...

It's not cost effective, but it's more green than gas or coal

The radioactivity from the long half-life radionuclides is much less intense.

Radioactive iodine is still dangerous because it can stay in your thyroid gland

You can still use newer technology to get rid of the most potent LLFPs, though

The amount of waste is tiny. Coal plants cause more radiation than nuclear plants because of tiny amounts of radioactive matter in coal. You need to burn so much coal the amount of radioactivity is higher per unit of energy.

Until we shut down all coal plants we shouldn't even think about closing nuclear plants

Cats rely more on their acute hearing to be aware of who is in the room. I'm sure if you play a cat video on TV it will get a reaction

When my cat looks at her reflection and makes noises at the "other cat" on the other side if the mirror, I'm pretty sure she's not aware of how she looks like

It used to take a computer with a ton of ptocessors to beat the best human. Now your phone can do it. When your most common tasks can be done on a phone NPU, and fewer GPUs need to be in the cloud it will get more efficient

Yes, I believe it. But when I went to urgent care with my ex, they got her in in about an hour.

Overall, my experience with the US system is that it's on average faster than the Canadian one if you need urgent care.

I bought the same things from the same store in 2017 as today. The $5.99 yogurt is now $7.99

There's two different brands, 4 lbs and 5 lbs and they have the same price

Other things went up similarly, like half a gallon of organic milk was $4.99 and now it's $5.99

I did not see a single thing that went up 50%, not one

It puts out literally zero carbon. Once you build a nuclear plant it's 100% green after the construction

For propaganda, they reported the girl dying right away

I've been syncing for days and I'm still 100,000 blocks away. I needed to turn on pruning and a page file just to be able to process them, but it takes forever to download and verify these blocks because they are absolutely huge. At this rate it will take months to sync

I didn't have this issue with bitcoin cash, it synced in a few days.
