What utter bootlicking corporate insanity from the US's fascist regime.

The masks feel quicker than i expected and the intensity is really worrying me.

Where will we be at, say 2027?

I think we're going to be learning a lot over the next 10 months and the midterm elections play out. I also think that while Trump can cause immense damage with the power he has right now, a pretty large majority of the US population disapproves of what he's doing, and as he continues to overstep his hand, he's losing more support. I really do believe his days are numbered. What comes after is definitely a question...

At this point, the loss of support means nothing. He's already ignoring congressional directives, he can't be legally elected again, so people's opinions don't matter, and if he decides to try to stay on anyway, people's opinions DOUBLY won't matter.

All else being equal, he'd rather have people like what he's doing than not, but people's disapproval won't change his behavior and it won't get rid of him - it's only going to make his petty revenge presidency more destructive and scorched earth. Make no mistake - even if his approval rating falls to ZERO, this is FAR from over, if it ends in our lifetime at all.

Hitler did much on the same, though there's no 1-to-1 comparison. At least Hitler's regime brought the population up from staggering poverty to plenty. American fascist policies are failing to show such an upturn. ATM, they're bringing slightly cheaper gasoline at the pump.

Kind of a big deal! People notice those prices and petro-economies (basically all of them) run on gasoline. American voters are simple, cheap gas good. Sounds OK so far.

That's it. And most other economic factors are worse. (Don't look up the "Buffett Index", for your own sanity.) The GOP has pulled all the supports that were to keep us from Great Depression 2.0.

See how the Trump regime loses support? In any case, he's clearly suffering dementia, which only gets worse, and god knows what other health ailments. Once the cult leader is dead, anyone taking his place catches ALL the blame for ALL the things. But by then, too late.

Interesting times indeed.

If only the UK were part of some larger, more powerful group... some kind of "union" that would discourage bullies from enforcing their will on it with impunity. Perhaps some kind of union with Europe?

Time to build an onshore wind farm on a golf course.

This would be a great moment from the captured opposition to pretend they aren't captured opposition by showing a spine, but the point is they don't have one, or any significant moral principles for that matter.

Prove me wrong, Labour leader larpers, I dare you.
