Why the fuck anybody listens to what a guy who plays videogames for a living says is beyond me.

people like what other people like. and in order to get people to like you, you have to like what they like.
it's the lemming effect. things are popular because they are popular, regardless of how shitty or awful they are, many many people will simple be interested because other people are interested.
