Nezha 1 was pretty good, i really want to see Nezha 2, i heard its even better. Zootopia 2 was really good, but DAYUM they gave the gazelle a dump truck
Not surprised. They did well with the sequel.
I thought How to Train Your Dragon would have been higher. I thought it was a good adaptation.
I enjoyed Z2, but its editing is not great. I'd say Z1 is better, but not by a lot.
Curious, what parts are you referring to for bad editing?
I don't have so much of a problem with the scene-to-scene editing. The scenes in isolation work fine. However, the choices they made for what to include/not didn't work for me. There is so much that goes on in Z2, and I don't think all of it should have made the final cut. For example, he plot line with mayor Brian Winddancer could have been completely cut and nothing would have been different. Is that plot line bad? No; but the problem is there is already so much that happens in the movie that it gets kind of distracting. More time could have been dedicated to the world building of the city, which is one of the coolest aspects of the franchise.
And yet it got released late in teh year. Imagine if it was release earlier last year?
of the movies I have seen on the list, whelp. 2025 has not been a banner movie year.
