If I remember correctly, the theory was that a heavy hit of adrenaline can lock a memory in for life with stunning detail. Trauma happiness, fear, love, embarrassment… it’s crazy. If I look back, all my detailed memories were probably accompanied by a heavy hit of adrenaline or dopamine.
