Enough Musk Spam

For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

What they did is forcibly enter places they weren't supposed to be allowed access to and take over their systems. Incidentally, most of those places held data owned by groups with regulatory authority over some or all of his businesses.

Also, great blackmail material is every single place they went.

I'm still convinced it was a cover to steal every bit of internal data on every American to supply Musks xAI venture in an attempt to get an advantage over the other AI firms.

It's a feature, not a bug. That way you can't disprove the made-up numbers they use.

They just backdoored or snagged a DB dump on every possible database they could get their hands on and gave it to Palantir (and who knows who else, but probably also the FSB, Mossad, and possibly MSS). That was the mission. That was what they did. They fully got away with it.

And it's not over. All those systems are compromised, one day they'll hopefully realize that they have to start from scratch.

Yes we do… they stole data.

Whoa, calm down and get things correct...
They stole data AND sent it to russia.

Also he dismantled all the agencies that were investigating his companies.

Yes we do. Compiled a list of every single American, their bills, their habits, and their political leanings/donations etc.

They stole sensitive data for Russians and Chinese.

They gutted USAID which in turn caused thousands to starve in other countries. So that’s fun.

That's intentional...
