I think it's great that they've keept up on the statues paint for all these years. Sometimes tradition really is important.

"London's smallest statue" doesn't seem feasible to track without other qualifiers.
maybe they forgot to include "public, and registered as a statue"
Did the building owners and/or some community group commission a sculptor to create it, possibly paid for by public subscription, or did it just appear one day, and end up not being removed, like what would later be called “street art”?
Not sure if "honors" is the right word here tho 😄
