The softest interview I could have possibly imagined from these two "socialists". They did not give two fucks about this guy's service to American Empire or how many Iraqis he killed as a machine gunner in Falujah. Instead they just accepted his line about his time as a military contractor being another example of corporate consolidation.

I'm Irrationally angry right now. What the fuck.

Why doesn't anyone use the "he's never had a real job without government help" line on him?

15 years of mostly being a stormtrooper, interspersed with going to college on the GI Bill, then 2 years after that he's suddenly a business owner, but not a very successful one, making a large part of his living from "disabled veteran" benefits.

Mamdani, at least, has done more good for the world in ~6 years of being a housing advocate, but he's the one that gets scrutinized.

Mamdani is a social democrat barely pretending to be radical, which is threatening to the DemoKKKrats because they are the party of nothing ever changing (the only reason they ever do anything is they were bribed by someone who stands to make a short-term profit).

Platner is an SS stormtrooper war criminal who can barely contain his desire for the deaths of Arab children, which is a circular venn diagram with most of the core DemoKKKrat values.

Have you considered that brown muslims are scary?

It's really disgusting how many people just roll over for him. Dude almost certainly has committed heinous war crimes and all these lumpen petty bourgeois media personality "socialists" completely forget their supposed internationalist positions over him.

A big part of the emotional component here is them not wanting to realize the “we were unfairly used to do evil” does mean you did evil and that has to be dealt with in tandem with the shot callers that got us in this mess.

They want one without the other.

I don't know what you were expecting, but they were the b team for michael brooks, who was the one with the personality and conviction. They aren't even enjoyable to listen to.

For context for non-Americans: Lech & Griscom are extremely radically left... by USA standards. That's basically the state of leftism in this country.
