Did you seriously hyuk'in generate an image of a soldier turning off an AI with a big button to make an AI meme thus completely missing the Goddamn point?
Might be meta commentary; the ai generated portion is the Firefox part, which is the “side” pushing AI
Explain what on green earth happened to the librewolf logo.
I thought it was like a knock off rainbow dash while scrolling down. The poor thing is mangled!
This might be outdated since the new Mozilla CEO has vowed to shove even more AI into FF.
Seems to be the up to date stance. Still not good.
"is a new toolbar button opt-in" even in his own clarification there he shows he's thinking about things differently from large swathes of users. Anything that spins off a new task (which their current AI stuff does) is not opt in, it's a new thing added. It breaks trust down so fast seeing that self contradiction.
Pretty clear from his word choice that it will be opt out, on by default. Bye, Firefox and Thunderbird.
I just need something to get me to Ladybird release. Though at this point I'm considering just trying to build it and use it as is.
