What a horrid building
I like brutalism and that building suuuuuuuuuuucks
Absolutely. Brutalism has its place, it's an art, and like with any art you can execute it either poorly or well. I think given its name it likely shouldn't evoke feelings of boredom or disgust.
We have a funny example here in Sweden where this old brick building was torn down.
And replaced with this!
I wouldn't say that the first building was beautiful or anything, but it was definitely more pleasant to look at than the new building. The ironic part is that the new building houses the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology's architecture branch.
It's not brutalist.
And I don't get what all of you are seeing to suck, with the building being all covered up in shade panels so nobody can see any detail in it.
I believe it's a dedicated parking garage, which admittedly only helps a little.

I hear revved up correctly, but agree that Springsteen absolutely sounds like he's saying douche. I'll never understand why he pronounces it that way...

Yup, but it also might be lightly photoshopped. The Street View has a window right where the portajohn is sitting that looks pretty permanent, but this pic or the street view could be old.
