Hello fellow Cyanide and Happiness fans!
Cyanide & Happiness (C&H) is a webcomic created by Rob DenBleyker, Kris Wilson, Dave McElfatrick and Matt Melvin. The comic has been running since 2005 and is published on the website explosm.net along with animated shorts in the same style. Matt Melvin left C&H in 2014, and several other people have contributed to the comic and to the animated shorts

About this community and how I post the comics⦠Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips. Of course these days you can read your favorite comics online instead of a newspaper, but I love the nostalgia of reading the daily comics. Anyway, one of my favorite current comics is Cyanide and Happiness and I will be posting the daily release from their website (https://explosm.net/) and a an extra or two randoms.

Most places use first past the post in one way or another.
Certain types of people have always sucked, regardless of origin. The US is just the current poster child - not so long ago it was the British colonizing everything. I'm betting on China being the next one in the not so distant future.
I love when a C&H comic has a happy ending.
I'd say the USA political system shouldn't condemn the rest of the world to such a fate, but looking around it's easy to see that the uber-aggressive power-tripping assholes that exist everywhere humans go will stop at nothing to subvert whatever system we come up with in order to serve their whims. THEY are the real problem, and we will likely never rid ourselves of them so this end result is probably for the best - even if it is inspired by the wrong thing.

To me this sounds like someone being so fed up with shit that they see shit everywhere.
There are many places, in not most, where democracy actually does work. If not ideal, then to some extent pretty well.
To me, and I assume many others around the world, the US democracy is basically an example of how not to do it.
You're not wrong in how I see things, but how I see things isn't necessarily wrong, either. those political systems may mostly be working okay at the moment (depending upon your definition of "okay"), but you can be assured that those assholes are always looking for ways to manipulate things to their advantage. Much like the USA, they will work as long and as subtly as it takes to get control in the end. Too many people are sheep, and thus won't see it coming until it's too late. History has documented innumerable examples of this.
