Violet kneels on the floor holding a football upright with her finger. In a panic, she exclaims,"He'll kick my hand! I just know he will!"

As Charlie Brown runs up to kick the ball, she let's it go saying,"I can't go through with it!"

As she kneels nearby, he kicks the unbalanced ball and in surprise, falls down.

Violet stands over a dazed and pained Charlie Brown asking,"You didn't kick the ball, Charlie Brown...why didn't you kick it?"

Patty approaches Charlie Brown sitting in a chair next to the table. As he listens to the radio atop the table, he exclaims,"I think I'll enter that contest!"

She sits in the chair and watches as he rummages through a drawer. He continues,"All you have to do is complete the sentence in fifty words or less"

He stands in front of her with a pen and a piece of paper. He says,"Of course, with me it's going to have to be 'less'..."

As they sit across from each other at the table, he starts to write and concludes,"I don't know fifty words!"

She walks over to the open door saying,"Come back, Charlie Brown!...We're sorry..we didn't mean it!"

She turns around as he sticks his head out from behind the door and says,"I didn't think you did!"

He stands on a stool washing his hands over the sink in the bathroom. He exclaims,"Rats!! Bread isn't worth it!"

Charlie Brown spreads his hands and exclaims to Shermy,"What did I tell you?! Girls just aren't cut out for this sort of thing!"

Patty joins him and the kid in the sheet and they walk down the lane exclaiming, "Boo!"

They stop in front of Charlie Brown, who is balancing a pumpkin atop his head and waving his arms. He says,"Boo!", and they respond likewise.

They jump as Snoopy suddenly pops up from in the pumpkin shouting, "Boo!!"

He jumps off the tricycle as she swings at him with the doll. She exclaims,"Oh, you heartless wretch!" He shouts,"Hey!"

He falls and exclaims, "Ow!", as she whacks over his head with the doll. She shouts,"You hit-run driver! You murderer!!"

He sits on the ground in pain and dazed as she walks off comforting her doll and saying,"Poor dolly..."
