I’m coming up on my first year here and I gotta say I love it here. Sure it’s not perfect and falls victim to the internet harshness now and again but just being able to use a site like this regularly and not see random offhand bigotry has been huge for me. The chapo subreddit was actually what radicalized me (formally) in 2019 so it’s cool coming full circle somewhat and completely leaving reddit after 15 years of almost daily use.
