No moment for compromise, Ukraine is UKRAINE. It belongs to UKRAINE. They make a final push and take all of it? Ukraine will NEVER fall. EVER. It will take decades of guerilla warfare, we have freed ourselves once before, we will do it again. There IS no surrender.

It is mystifying to me how english speaking media reports on obvious desperate bluffing from Russia as if it was a sign of strength. You are absolutely right, the only reason for Russia to bluff and bluster this hard is if it is trying to disguise an unsustainable weakness and loudly convey such an indefinite comfort with the status quo that it somehow distracts from the fact that the Russian military is crumbling to pieces.

The Defense Ministry earlier said the flight took place after repair work.

If this is the state of their aircraft maintenance then expect to start seeing more even more crashes in the coming weeks.
