Hi everyone. I made a post yesterday and it has totally disappeared. It doesn't even show up on my list of posts. Any idea how this can happen?

It was in lemmy.world/politics. And it was about the election in Tennessee next week. The link was http://youtube.com/post/UgkxxibuAxtuEgp6TxJyrsJrNw5358rlzB5b

I had to delete a previous post about the same subject in the same community because the news was a week old and from msn.com

Check the modlog: https://feddit.uk/modlog?userId=15441947

This post may get deleted also, because you didn’t read the community rules before posting:

Thanks for that and fair enough! Finally found the rules, you have to "open" the side bar on your phone... But is that normal that It also disappeared from my own list?

Yes, once a post is removed, it won’t show up in lists (except the modlog) and can’t be viewed by anyone but the mods/admins.

Ngl, there should be a feature that notifies when a post or comment gets removed by mods, and the why.

Have a look at the modlog.

Has it only happened this one time? Sometimes internet connection loss or heavy traffic on the site can disrupt a post and even tho you hit "post/submit" and it looks like it went, it didn't finish before the connection was lost and it never finalized.

Used to happen on reddit occasionally when they had a lot of traffic.
