If it wasn't made by a Chinese tech company I'd gladly get one.
It would be brilliant if say Ubiquiti, Alta Labs or some other western networking company took inspiration and created access points with a similar style to this.

Somehow, I don't think that particular design will have a huge mass market appeal...
Honestly if you don’t want Sahleen the Anthro-Feline Bad Dragon looking good on your bookcase while sending out some strong WiFi signals I don’t want you as a friend.
We’re moving the wrong way. It needs to be clunky and made of hard tan-grey plastic and have buttons that make clicking noises when you push them in.
Where is the cassette futurism that all the sci-fi books and movies promised?
Where are the routers with visible, slowly-spinning fans and little screens that marquee diagnostic messages in dull green pixelated letters?
What happened to the sounds our computers used to speak? What happened to the sounds of motions and machinations of metal?
What happened to the soul of the machine?

I prefer a rectangular metal box. It's even better if it can be mounted in a mini rack.
Unfortunately metal boxes are pretty good at keeping the wifi in. Those antenna arrays aren't just for show. I prefer thin, featureless wall/ceiling mountable panels :)
I use separate WiFi access points. A single access point built into a router doesn't cover a very large area if you want high speed on 5 or 6 GHz.
