My late doggie would get so excited when I'd tuck him in, he'd bark-yell and jump even though both his hind legs didn't work right.
My current one brings the blanket with her. It's her favorite toy.
I do this to my dog every morning when I get up for work. He is normally sleeping right next to me and gets up to reposition exactly where I was sleeping. Once I get out of the shower he slowly, after much stretching, get of bed and see me off.
