[–] Darkness343@lemmy.world 3 points 15 hours ago

Oh yeah, I've seen that plenty of times in my Stellaris playthroughs.

Truly an amazing sight

Their pizza sucks. He is also a huge racist.

[–] Zron@lemmy.world 4 points 16 hours ago

Two words: Breakfast Sausage.

They use breakfast sausage instead of Italian for their sausage.

I ordered a pizza from there once and spit it out.

How do they still have business?

I never tried them because when food is shown in ads, it is usually doctored to look better, and if Papa Johns did that, they still failed because they look disgusting. You know how hard it is to make pizza look disgusting?!

It was good up until around the early 2010s. Then they started cheaping out on the ingredients and it hasn't been the same since.

I've had papa John's several times. It's not bad if you don't mind your crust tasting like cardboard.

My god it's crushing me tangled around my body like countless chains black seas split by moonlit spires holding my eyes open I'm so tired

2018

"Forbes said Schnatter used the N-word during a media training exercise. When asked how he would distance himself from racist groups, Schnatter reportedly complained that Colonel Sanders never faced a backlash for using the word."

What a dingus, says the n word in a conference call on what not to say in media, then when there's backlash complain about someone else getting to say it. Just lacking any sense of self awareness after already bitching about NFL players protesting against systemic racism. Either he's a racist white supremacist piece of piss or one of the dumbest people to suck air, maybe both.

Yeah he's a racist prick. Pretty well known in the restaurant industry.

I think he's more of a fan of a white void style of nothing versus the black sky.

[–] flandish@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago

naa. from his capitalist point of view, the black sky is 3/5ths the price.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

I don’t like pineapple on my pizza either

This quote, where is from? I'm thinking of Asimov's short story The Last Question maybe?

I have never seen a concrete source for this quote, but i may be mistaken
