Thanks for the tip; my guess is she'd be using https://tidalcycles.org/ - strudel is just a js web implementation of tidalcycles. The latency would be too high/uncontrollable if she did it with a web app.
I do think the live coding music is pretty rad
Maybe I should try it some time
